A Canadian lecture series created in 2024 to honour Kappy Flanders, CM, MSM, OC (1938–2020), The Kappy Lectures address the subject of end-of-life care from unique and creative perspectives.

Featuring distinguished artists, writers, thinkers, and scholars from a diverse range of fields, each event includes multiple presenters exploring ideas and issues around the end of life. While dying is often regarded as a “difficult” subject, the series aims to celebrate life through candid conversations about death.

The lectures are held every two years, delivered before a live audience at McGill University in Montreal, recorded for broadcast at public events in cities across Canada, and later made available online.
